Ghanaian Broadcaster, Kofi Adomah has shared his first public statement following his tragic accident which nearly cost him his sight.

Addressing the public on March 13, 2025 via his Facebook page, Kofi revealed that he is enduring excruciating pain and suffering headaches which is making it difficult for him to sleep at nights.

“I want to talk before anything happens. I’m in severe pain with my head aching badly, but I need to speak out before anything happens,” he said in tears.

The broadcaster was injured during a musketry display at the Kwafie Festival in Dormaa in December 2024 when gunpowder residue struck his eye.

However, Kofi expressed disappointment that his people had abandoned him during his recovery and alleged attempts by some traditional leaders in Dormaa to cover up the incident to avoid public embarrassment

“If anybody will do this to me, I didn’t expect it to come from Bono people,” he lamented.

“I will never wish this on my worst enemy,” Kofi Adomah stated.

“At one point, I thought it was better to die than to live because of some of the narratives I was hearing about myself,” he bitterly lamented.

Despite the setbacks, Kofi expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life and thanked his family and some Ghanaians including Ibrahim Mahama, Dr. Kwesi Oteng and others for their prayers and support.
